A team from City law firm Carter Lemon Camerons LLP ran the London Legal Walk on Monday 16 May, raising a total of more than £1,200 in aid of the London Legal Support Trust.
The Carter Lemon Camerons team, consisting of Jonathan Fozard, Stephanie Lees, Francesca Flood, Rowan Shacklock-Hendry and Chris Duffy have so far raised more than £600 from sponsorship, and the firm has kindly offered to match what is raised, meaning that the total will be over £1,200.
The London Legal Support Trust supports the provision of free specialist legal services in London and the South East.
Jonathan, Stephanie, Francesca, Rowan and Chris were among more than 10,000 people taking part in the event. All five of them chose to run the 10km course, finishing in impressive times of between 1 hour 5 minutes and 1 hour 13 minutes.
Jonathan Fozard, an Associate at Carter Lemon Camerons, said: “I’m delighted that we’ve raised so much money for the London Legal Support Trust. I’d like to thank everyone who sponsored us for their generosity and all the team members for a sterling effort on the day.
“I’m also very grateful to the firm for generously matching the funds we raised through sponsorship to double our fundraising total.”
Stuart Brennan, Senior Partner, added: “I’d like to congratulate the Carter Lemon Camerons Team on their success. They’ve raised a significant sum for a very deserving cause and we’re delighted to match the amount they raised through sponsorship.”
