Legal professionals from City of London law firm, Carter Lemon Camerons LLP, will travel to Singapore next week to discuss the possible consequences of the UK’s vote to leave the European Union.
Rufus Ballaster and Danielle Cooper of Carter Lemon Camerons LLP will meet with representatives of a number of banks as well as several longstanding Singapore-based clients and contacts.
Partner, Rufus Ballaster, said: “Our Singapore-based contacts are likely to have many questions about the impact of the UK’s vote to leave the EU.
“Whilst there is obvious uncertainty about the long-term situation, Carter Lemon Camerons LLP is well equipped to advise on strategies to manage UK-based investments during and after the country’s transition out of the EU.
“The investors we’ll be meeting with will be thinking about stability, currency risk and tax policies as well as issues around the returns on their investments.”
Among the contacts the pair will be meeting are a major residential property developer, several major lenders and a trust company.
